Halloween Card -2
I forgot the card that I made for one friend using Cricut Lite Celebrate with Flourish. And the part that I love the most is: "if you can fly it, used it".....
The Pinguin Fest
My friend Maria is very creative, but we have a deal, she bakes... I cricut.... So, she needs a penguin for her pumpkin at school. And since I had Animal Kingdom, the penguin was a very easy task.
Great exchange... she creates my daughter birthday cake with her cricut cake machine. thanks Maria for your talent....and by the way, the cake was delicious.

Einstein - the scientist
For another class my son has to represent a scientist, Mr. Einstein!! Not think too much, Paper Doll gave me the answer:
Happy Halloween Mr. Einstein!!
Halloween Wimpy Kid - Treak or Read
Ok! another school project, know the challenge is to represent in a pumpkin my son favorites book. The selection was easy, Diary of the Wimpy Kid, but the pumpkin design was a little bit scary. Well, first painting the pumpkin white, then figuring out the nose and finally the hear was a very creative task. Then my cricut have to be part of the event, the tittle and cover design.
For the cover display I used Paper Dolls, and I found the perfect combination of t-shirt, pants and the backpack is from Locker Talk. The font was Disney-Mickey Font.
I think this was a great idea in my son school to represent a character in a pumpkin, at least we are doing something more that trick or treat, just "Trick or Read".
Love you Carlos,
Hispanic Heritage Project - Puerto Rico
Celebrating the Hispanic Heritage in our community is a big event. All the teachers get excited and send projects about our countries of origin. Our is Puerto Rico, and creating a puertorrican doll was not an easy task. But, using Paper Dolls we create a fantastic replica of the typical puertorrican dress.
Using my cutterbug helps in the design of the white dress, and adding some lace make the dress more real.
I hope everybody likes my little puertorrican doll, I know will be a success in Patty's school.
Book Report - New Cover
Hello, another book report homework from my daughter. In this want she ("me") needs to create a new cover for Matilda, the book by Roald Dahl. Mommy was put again to the challenge and I decided to used my favorite cartridge, Paper Dolls Up and Everyday Paper Dolls. And this is the result.
Illustrated by Patricia Alfonso, was the highlight at the bottom. Another fun project for my Patty. |
