Oh Baby challenge - nursery rhymes & playtime

Hello Everybody:
Today I created a card for Oh Baby Challenge sponsor by My Craft spot.  It was so fun to used my niece latest pictures.  The card was cut 7" x 5".

For each picture I cut a 2" x 2" squares for the pictures in various colors and prints.
Ones I finished the card, I feel that something was missing and I add the ribbon on the border to give more girly touch to the card.

The pictures were allocated in each square.

Picture 2

Picture 3

The letters for "Oh baby!" was cut with Nursery Rhymes.

The bow decorated my favorite picture.

For the inside I used a pots colorful paper cut 6.75" x 4.75".  To decorate the inside with the message I used Cricut Lite - Playtime.

I love it, I can wait to see my little princess soon!

Wedding Challenge - Divine Wedding

Tonight I designed a card for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.  The cartridge that I used was from Creative Memory - Divine Wedding.  The card was cut 5.25" x 10.  The designed used was the card and bride and groom.   The background was cut in pink and embossed with textile texture.

The tag was cut with the monogram designed and the tag number is the wedding date.

The dress was cut in white and embossed with cuttle bug dots.

I add a detail of light blue Tull to give more dimension to the bride.

The inside of the card was made using phrase "just married", that I love it.  The background was embossed using the same textile texture file.

I hope you like it!

Christmas in July Challenge - Life is a beach

Hello, today I worked in the Christmas in July Challenge sponsor by Bitten by the bug 2.  I create a card that was in my mind for a long time and finally was created.  The Cartridge used was CCR Basics and Life is a beach.

The main frame was cut 7"x5". Then the base for the picture was cut from Room Basics - Round Square 6.5" x 4.7". The picture I used originally was 4"x6" but I trimmed the sides.

From Life is a Beach I cut the palm trees in two sets, and one was flip to be in the other side of the frame.

The words Merry Christmas was cut using George and Basics, cutting two: standard and another set in shadow. Also with this cartridge I cut 2012 using the charms and a background charms to all. The detail with the ribbon was to hold the years and give some dimension to the frame.

To show the labels I used the foam mats in all the levels.  I hope you like it and we can celebrate again Christmas in July!

Wild card - With Sympathy

Our assistant principal lost her mom recently.  I just create a card for her using my new Croma embossing kit.  It was so simple, that I don't know why I wait so long to used it.  With simple details the card showed like this:

First I cut the card 5 x 10 from Wild Card.  Then I change the blade to the embossing pin and embossed the white vinyl paper.

Ones it was done, I cut a bird and fell the details with gold marker.

For the first time I used the pens in the Cricut to write the message:  With sympathy, and worked it perfect.  Maybe next time I used less pressure.
All the borders were distress with the distress ink pats.

Their is no words that can make you feel better in this moment, but a little card could make you feel special.

Just Because Cards- Get Whale soon

My BBF had surgery yesterday, and I just want to send her a cute card.  I create a Get Whale soon Card using Just Because Cards (5x10),  The colors used to show the layers were:
  • shadow light purple
  • purple - whale and phrase
  • light green - oval
  • and pink distress all around
  • movement mini-eye

I hope she feels better soon and like the card.
See you soon!

Birthday Bash - Sundae Card

Hello, another night that I cant stop "cricoting".  This card is for my son best friend that loves sundaes.
I used Birthday Bash.  The card was cut 6.7" x 3", copy the image and flip one to create the card upside down together.  Then cut the rest of the images for the sundae.

The card will look like this:

I cut a third image to place the plate (blue) and the sprinklers are mix in the ice creams.

Inside, I used a phrase from BBash, simple to contrast the brown of the card.

Love it! Make me hungry!!

Simply Charmed - Hot Dog Celebration

Hello, my friend Adrian its participating in the Hot Dog Challenge from "I celebrate the occasion blog" and I thought it was a great idea to participate.  How difficult could be to do
a hot dog card.  Well!!! after thinking for a while, it was hard, specially to celebrate a hot dog.
So far this is my card:
Cartridge used:
Simply Charmed
Wild Card
Birthday Bash

The card was cut with Wild Card, 4" x 7".  The letters are from Birthday Bash, using the text box from the Cricut craft room.  The hot dog, the lettuce and the plate were from Simply charmed cut approx 2".

For the bread I used the cuttle bug to give some texture to the bun.

Life is a Beach - Friends Adventure

Hello, my daughter and son will be celebrating summer in a special way, swimming with the dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium on Saturday.  Since is our best friend birthday, they are going to have a very special celebration.  For the occasion, I just wants to create a portrate frame to remember the event.

First I used Life is a Beach for the dolphins.  I cut the waves border twice in light blue and the dolphins border in dark grey. The waves were painted with white acrylic to highlight the border.  The dolphins were cut a little bit to show over the waves.  The picture frame is for a picture 5" x 7" in white cardstock.  The letters also are from LIB, friends adventure and the sun.  The cloud is from Paper dolls for everyday.

For this project, I used the Cricut Craft Room and save my file.  Transfer the file to  my computer and then to my gypsy, and it was so cool to do it!  I fell like a pro!!

I hope they like it, because I love it!!!!
