Baptism Gifts & Remembrance

Always the Baptism of a baby bring us the opportunity to create something special.  This are some of the special gifts that I prepared for my new niece and godchild.
First, I wrote the poem, date, hour, church and the parents and godparents info.
Then I emboss the pink paper with a flower design.  Cut the ribbon and glow it to the paper.  Next, I create a bow with the medal inside.

Then decorate some boxes from the $1.00 store with almonds in the inside
 and ribbons in the outside.

Who could not melt with this angel.....

God bless you my little princess!!!!

Baby Book

OMG! It's being a long time that I don't signed to update, but it's because a new baby arrived in the family.  My sister Beatriz had the most beautiful baby girl called Genesis, and we spend 3 weeks playing with her.  She was the inspiration to create her baby book.  Pictures as follow:

The album is Memory, and the cover was made with Kate's & ABC.

Derby Car Race

OMG what a fun day!  Today my son had his end of the year party with a Derby race and it was fun.  Mommy and Sister creates our cars this morning, of course with scrap booking steakers, flowers, etc.
My card wins the Most Beautiful Car in the race, because was so beautiful that can not race.
My daughter creates a Girl Scout Car with the cookie sign that was the Boom! And my son creates a black race card that almost make it to the finals.  But the idea was to have fun and it was fabulous.
Enjoy the card decorations!

Most of the flowers and butterflies were stickers, but the flowers were make with Mothers Day Bouquet Cartridge.

My name is Fabulous!!

This is Patty's car and as you see GS Rules and Buy cookies was the hit at the race.  She had all the boys suffering since her car was fast and adorable!!

Grow up mini-album

I count not believe that my little princess is going to Middle school.  It was yesterday when she started Pre-K, Kindergarten and puff! 5ht grade graduation was on the corner.  Yesterday we celebrated that beautiful day, but was very emotional.  Just having the surprise to see her receiving the Presidential Award was amazing!!!!  Patty I am very proud of you.  From a young baby to a young woman.....
I never like "time flies"... and here is she.  In her honor I did my first mini book, take took me 6 months to finished just for the sentimental attachments of so many beautiful memories.

First, I played in my gypsy to cut the pages one bigger and one smaller to have the border effect.  Then I apply the font in every page forming PATTY  in each border of each page, and hiding the rest to be cut as part of the page.
One's I figured out how to cut all the pages, I started missing the papers to have a flower - dots pattern in each page.
Then pictures came in action, and separated by grade.

OMG, and I thought I was done in this page, but since the graduation was yesterday I add the most beautiful picture form Patty all dress up, looking as a grow up and so proud to be big!!!

Then every page was decorated with flowers to matched and express my happiness to be the gardener of my beautiful baby flower.

And the grand finale can not be perfect without the last trip to Michael's to matched ribbons in all the colors used in all the pages.
My husband and I loved so much the album that we invited Patty to have dinner and give her the album.  She was so happy to see her since her first day of school that she was speechless.

I love you Patty!

Congratulations Part III

I am not over with the graduations.  This weekend we had my daughters, my two best friends sons (2)  and daughters (2) celebrating their graduations.  From 5th grade, 8th grade and High School, we wanted to make their weekend very special.

I had the challenge to make 6 cards, with the Well Done in mind.  Looking to all the cartridges I found that Tags, Bags and Boxes will help me.  I used rectangle oval card, and cut it 5.21 x 5.55.  Then half of the work was done.  Just my mind cannot discard that I want Well Done. Then from Beyond Birthdays I cut Congrats.  I used red for the words and white for the shadow to create a good contrast.

Then my Campin' Critters came in action.  I found a little animal cooking the marshmallows, and Well Done takes action.  I cut the marshmallows brown and bone white and a shadow in white.

I was very happy with the result, but another problem came.  I need an envelope to my card.  I went back to Tags, Bags and Boxes cartridge and I found the perfect one, a little box of crayons.  I cut the envelopes 7.90 x 6.02.  But I can not keep thinking that I was missing something.

Going to bed at 3:00am, not happy with what was missing I did one more thinking in my dreams, and vuala!! at the Dollar Store I found crayons.  I change the name tags for a pencil sticker and then, my envelope was perfect.  Then the packing takes action.

I love the final product.  For being a beginner with a lot of ideas in my mind, I think I did good.  I hope they like it, I love doing something so special for them.

Thanks!
